Welcome to STILL

Friends, we couldn’t be more excited for you to join us for this unique experience.

We believe that God has something special for you as you slow down and learn to listen for His voice.

On this page you’ll find all the details you’ll need for our experience: what to bring, how to get there, and instructions for prep time.

STILL details

Your Arrival

It’s important that you arrive on time, at 5:00 pm on Friday afternoon (dinner will be provided).

The STILL location is a lake house, 65 miles north of Little Rock, AR at 1140 Fox Chase, Heber Springs, AR 72543.

Make sure you allow for a 1.5 hour drive in your Friday schedule so you arrive on time.

What to Expect

Come ready to rest and recharge your soul.

We’ll guide you through four unique, God-centered sessions as you learn to slow down, listen, and move to a new rhythm.

Along the way we’ll have a fun time, good food, and great conversation!

What to Bring

Watch the weather and dress in layers. We’ll spend time outside no matter the temperature (as long as it’s not raining).

And don’t forget your…

  • Bible, Journal, and Pen

  • Camp chair

  • hiking / walking shoes

  • jacket / layers for time outside

  • Towel and personal care items

  • Pillow (if you’re picky like Chris!)

  • ear plugs (you will be sharing a room)

We’ll take care of the rest.

Prep Time

Before you come to STILL, be sure to do your prep work. Here’s the video with instructions…

TIPS:

Intimidated by an hour of quiet with God? Not sure what to do? Try one or two of these tips...

  • Plan ahead. Set an appointment in your calendar, go to bed earlier, ask a friend to hold you accountable.

  • Pick your favorite quiet spot, preferably somewhere outside. Think porch, trail in the woods, boat dock, park bench, etc.

  • Unplug. Shut down your phone and computer so you’re distraction-free.

  • Breathe and pray. Take a few deep breaths and ask God to help you still your mind and heart as you spend time with him.

  • Write Bring a journal and write out your thoughts, prayers, struggles, and what you believe God is saying.

  • Move your feet. If your head and heart are most still while your feet are moving, then go on a walk, a hike, or a run with Jesus.

  • Trust the process. God's with you. He loves you. And let the prompts / questions in the video guide you into conversation with him.
